After finishing a business degree, I started working 22 years ago at a trading desk in an energy company. The decision to work here was made with no clear idea what would really drive and inspire me and bring out my qualities, talents and gifts. It was something that presented itself naturally and it seemed like the best option to take.
After several months in this company, I realised that something was missing in my life. This was the moment where my journey of self-discovery started. Suddenly all my nurtured ambitions and dreams seemed irrelevant. All that was left over was that one day, I would start my own company in which I was free to decide how I could give expression to my qualities, talents and gifts.
It took me another 21, sometimes impatient, years to establish UPLIFT. In hindsight, I can say that it was worth waiting for. These years of ‘preparing myself’ have led me to several countries and many different jobs. I worked as a leader, trainer & coach, consultant, business developer and also took sabbatical leave more than once to create time for personal reflection and exploration
With Uplift Inspiration, I want to use these experiences to provide a supportive and creative environment for my clients, where flow, energy, ease and inspiration can thrive. I belief we all have our unique qualities, talents and gifts, which sometimes just need a bit of ‘dusting off’ to become visible again. When they become visible, suddenly everything falls back into place. This is what happened to me when founding UPLIFT.
I can now say with gratitude, that my life experiences have helped to shape UPLIFT’s company mission ‘inspire people and organisation to live to their fullest potential’
